Irene Osprey – Rose
Irene has been a member of Hudson Players Club for many years. She is delighted to be “on the main stage” again and is thoroughly enjoying the experience, working with such a talented director, cast and crew. Born in Scotland and an alumnus of both Glasgow and Strathclyde Universities, Irene came to Canada in 2003. She works in film, theatre, TV and recently in videogame production, both as an actor and voice-over. Selected theatre credits include Phoebe in Phoebe’s Gift (Theatre Panache), Mrs. Carlson in Whose Wives Are They Anyway (HPC), Countess Henslowe in Elizabeth Rex (Tableau D’Hôte Theatre), Charles in Joan of Arc (National Theatre School), Ethel in On Golden Pond (HPC), M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias (Lakeshore Players), Rose in The Riversmead Affair (Theatre Panache), Goody in Beauty and the Beast (Hudson Village Theatre), Janet in Waiting for the Parade and Deedra in Always a Bridesmaid (both Stone Soup Productions). Selected TV credits include Canadian Detective, This Life, The Will, Being Human, Fatal Vows and A Stranger in My Home. Voice and videogame credits include Agnes McBean in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Project Zeta (both Ubisoft). Irene is co-author of The Riversmead Trilogy (Theatre Panache). She is also a co-founder of Stone Soup Productions.
