One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest

By Ken Kesey

Adapted for Stage/Playwright by Dale Wasserman

Directed by Donna Byrne

The rebellious Randle P McMurphy, incarcerated, avoids further sentencing on the state work farm by feigning psychosis. He is transferred to a state mental hospital where he incites his fellow-patients to rebel against the ward tyrant, Nurse Ratched. McMurphy turns the ward upside down in his quest for liberation. Profoundly affecting his fellow inmates, McMurphy challenges them to see their world in a different way. McMurphy is a force to be reckoned with but with victory comes a high price.
